Our Membership

Nearly 89 years ago, a group of 25 Army officers formed USAA when they banded together to insure each other’s automobiles. Today, USAA is open to those who have honorably served their country. In turn, we are proud to serve more than 8 million active-duty service members and veterans of all ranks and grades, as well as their families.
